Set useful word lengths
Use minimum and maximum length when your puzzle or game limits the answer size. This removes noise before you inspect individual words.
LetterToolkit
Turn a rack of letters into possible English words. Add ? for a blank tile, then narrow the results by length, word shape, excluded letters or tile score.
Word Unscrambler
Use each rack letter once. A ? acts as one wildcard tile and contributes 0 points to the displayed tile score.
Keep solving
Move from a letter rack to the exact word pattern or list you need without starting over.
How to narrow a large result set
The best unscrambler workflow is broad-to-specific: enter the rack, inspect the strongest candidates, then add only the constraints you actually know.
Use minimum and maximum length when your puzzle or game limits the answer size. This removes noise before you inspect individual words.
Starts with, contains and ends with filters are useful when a crossing clue or visible suffix gives you part of the answer.
Sort longest first for rack coverage, highest tile score for word games, or A–Z when you want predictable browsing. If a wildcard supplies a letter, that tile contributes 0 points.
Worked example
With the letters LISTEN, a full-rack rearrangement is SILENT. The same rack can also form shorter words such as LIST, LINE and TILE, depending on the dictionary used.
The result message tells you how many returned candidates use all rack tiles. That makes it easier to separate exact-length anagrams from shorter words without switching tools.
Dictionary limits
LetterToolkit searches a broad English word list intended for discovery. Commercial word games, school dictionaries and regional dictionaries can include or exclude different spellings, inflections, proper nouns and uncommon words.
For competitive play, confirm unusual candidates against the official word list for your game. LetterToolkit does not label this broad dataset as an official Scrabble or Words With Friends dictionary.
